Who Are We

WE ARE:  A group of concerned Shuswap citizens and business owners determined to provide support to applicants who are applying for industrial, commercial, recreational and residential permits or zoning changes.

OUR MANDATE:  To be a proactive group that will work with industry and local and provincial governments to create and stimulate responsible development and economic prosperity in the Shuswap area.

WE EXPECT:  All applicants to comply with the required local government bylaws, codes, permits and building standards set out.  In addition, applicants will be in compliance with infrastructure requirements and environmental regulations.

WE WILL SUPPORT: All reasonable requests for assistance from our members/clients with regard to zoning applications, permits, public review processes and final City Council review.

WE WILL PROVIDE:  Public awareness of the Applications and member support from our Association when requested to do so by Citizens, Businesses or Developers. We will help Applicants navigate the entire process required by Local Government to reach the successful completion of individual projects or developments.
